Torrevieja is a Spanish city in the province of Alicante, on the Costa Blanca with over 100,000 inhabitants.

It is known for its typically Mediterranean climate and coastline.

It has many promenades along its fine sandy beaches. The small Sea and Salt Museum houses exhibitions on fishing and the history of the city's salt. Inland, the Lagunas de La Mata-Torrevieja Natural Park has trails and two salt lagoons.
