El Campello has managed to preserve its traditional festivals, giving them, over the years, more splendor and roots so that locals and visitors can enjoy them. From January 5 with the Cabalgata de Reyes Magos (parade of the Three Kings) until New Year's Eve, there is a wide variety of celebrations: Carnivals, Holy Week, Feasts of the Cross, etc. Among them, two should be highlighted: the Festivities of the Virgin of Carmen, around July 16, are the busiest and most spectacular and they offer numerous activities over several days and end with the maritime procession and singing of the Salve Regina; from October 11 to 15, the Moorish and Christian Festivals begin with the Moorish landing on the beach and continue with a multitude of celebrations, including embassies, colorful parades and the offering of flowers.
